Facilitator

I can now add a new title to my list of things I am called. Professional Facilitator.
That's right, I have entered the ranks of being paid for telling people what I think and believe.

This past spring I was invited to facilitate a national leadership program. We flew to Kansas City , Mo and taught a leadership program to 15 students who work for many different government agencies in the country. We had a blast and learned so much as well from each other and of course the students.

Guess What!! I was invited to come back to Kansas City, Mo in March to facilitate the class again. Currently there are 25 registered and registrations are still open. It has now become a National Program of Emerging Leaders. Can you believe it? I am now on the circuit for the APWA (American Public Works Association) Emerging Leaders Class 2.

During the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute program I signed up to be a Class Advisor and an Instructor for Institute of Organized Management. I listed a few courses that I thought would be great to add to the class roster, i.e., Ethics, Power of Partnerships, Retention, and of course my favorite Boards Gone Bad.

I will keep you posted on the progress for these classes.

Congratulations! Just make sure it isn't March 25-27, 2009. That's Invested Leaders with the U.S. Chamber.

P.S. I added you to My Blog List. I found out how to add it. :)
