WOW!
What an experience I have had this past week as the Class Advisor for an amazing group of 26 Chamber Professionals.
Never did I think they would have taught me so much, cared so much and shared so much. I was truly humbled when the class all brought in gifts for me and then wrote a letter to the Board of Regents and requested that I am their class advisor again next year.
I have to say that when you are an Advisor there are others who seem to notice your very being that never noticed you before. That happened this past week. I had great conversations with members of the Board of Regents that over the past 4 years I didn't believe they even knew my name. Now they not only know me, they are assisting me in finding a position closer to my family. Amazing!!
Sign me up for next year, I want to serve again.
