Interviewing has been more work than work. First you have to find a place that is hiring where you want to go, then you prepare your wonderful resume so that it looks appealing, (ivory embossed paper, in a bright red folder) then you read and reread to make sure that all is done the way you want. Mail the packet out, wait until they decide to call you and set up the interview. Phone interviews are first, THEN if you make the cut you go to the next round. Fill in the application, send it in, if you qualify then you get the notice for the in person interview and then you wait...
In the mean time, you have work to do, events to plan, board meetings, bill paying, staff issues and regular day to day operations. Also on the plate is the annual leadership class that is only 4 weeks away and working on it, and getting ready for continued education classes in Chicago. WHEW!!!, that would explain why I am falling asleep with the computer on.
It is a good thing that I am somewhat organized, ok so I am really organized. It is a good thing I would not be able to figure all of this out if I was not a planning fool.
Stay tuned for the next round of what will be.....
