Hanna, Ike and Josephine

They are lined up like a conga line.

Come on over and dance with me, we can dance around the thought of stay or go!
We can dance around the plywood that will once again go back up on the windows. We can dance around the idea of work or no work during the storms. We can dance around trying to collect membership dollars to make payroll. We can dance around trying to keep food cold so it won't spoil when the lights go out. We can dance around in the yard to pick up debris and everything else. But better yet, we get to dance around when the new tax bill comes in and watch all of the new charges to cover the cost of the conga line.

Come and dance with me...

Well, i don't know what to say about that, i am not sure you would like it here come winter. Going to bed and waking up with 6 or 8 inches of new snow over night, no need to wonder what your doing that day. Your shoveling out, plus you have all the layers of clothing to wear every time you step out the door. And then there is the cabin fever, as you say. You better like being indoors and have your hobbies lined up, you'll be there for a while. But with all that said there is something pretty about winter, it makes everything look clean. There is also a quietness to the season, and a crispness to the air. Very crisp!!. In the movie baby boom, when she is in the country with snow and ice everywhere, that is exactly what it look's like.

Some days when it is over 90 and humid! I could just handle a few good days of the winter. Who knows with all of the hot flashes maybe I could handle more than that.
Ah, think about this, i could enjoy the ice cream and sleep with the windows open :)
