As I watch the weather channel on TV, and speak to family in the NorthEast, I enjoy from the couch view watching it snow. Now, hold your horses, I am sure if you are my family from the north you are saying, Yeah right! however, when the weather channel was showing downtown Pittsburg and predicting the weather for the Steelers game, it was a pretty site.
I have applied with resume to 2 chambers in the north that have openings, after much laughter from them recieving my resumes and saying, she must be nuts!, I decided to send them an email and let them know that I am not crazy, but want to be closer to family. However, knowing my luck they will call me for an interview during the worst "blizzard" conditions that they could possibly have. Any way, I will keep everyone posted on the outcome.
Football tonight, I will be cheering on the Steelers as they battle the field with Baltimore, go steelers!!
I have all of the football foods going on, chips & salsa, cheetos, brownies, popcorn, ribs, baked beans, and anything else you think you want to consume.

I have been a total blog slacker as of late, but I did add a new comic that I think you will find amusing.
And, bring on Chicago. I look forward to the eatery list. Afterall, isn't that really what's it all about?
As the family up north who is indeed watching it snow, i can say it is beautiful. Cold but beautiful, but that's o.k. i do not fool myself any longer thinking that it may just get to 60. Spring will be here soon and the thaw will come.
But for now i embrace the winter and the beauty that comes with, i also throw an indoor bar-b-que with fantastic ribs, potato salad and beans.
Now that is a hearty winter meal.
And yes, everyone here is in total steeler frenzy.
I cannot wait until we get to Chicago. Cindy, You and I are going to eat our way through downtown, bring on the shuttle!
